I am projecting image pixels in 3D, blowing the image apart and then using the same pixels to recreate a completely different image, and by repeating this process I hope to create a narrative. I find the brakedown and regeneration of image pixel by pixel creating the illusion of tangible media, reminding us that every thing on screen is made of little squares. Also I never done a music visualization so this project has presented a good opportunity. Music by my talented friend Ido Tavori. LAUNCH

Biodataviz is concerned with using real and computational biology to visualize data. Sets of tags from a personal and public sources are used to create amoebas and predators. The final piece in this ecology is a real plant which hydroponic systems depend on the simulation. This producer/consumer dynamic creates a semiotic meaning out of data. MORE

Projection, a convergence of virtual and personal realties realized as a mashup of RSS aggregation and personal video diary, in collaboration with film director Sofia Mikhaylovskaya. Sofia's personal video archive was juxtaposed with live news story feeds that were filtered to contain words from a haiku written by Sofia. LAUNCH

Exploration of predictive typing for multitouch interfaces. The abundance of multitouch displays is not affecting the screen based type input paradigm. Why every multitouch presentation has the omnipresence of a typewriter? In collaboration with Barbara Somlai and inspired by the Theremin, we tried to create an alternative to the QUARTY/DWORAK, to bring the excellent Dasher project in to a 3D environment. MORE

We tried with this project to represent the notion of space between us, turning quantitative data in to expressionist image, a group project with Barbara Somlai and Peter Halasz. We measured a distance between the three group members at the moment of briefing, calculated it into a sound wave that was played through an amp to electro-magnets Placed on top of a monitor. This produced a colorful magnetic distortion on a tube screen, the distortion was created but not as strong as we predicted.
